Each Sixth Form student has a dedicated and experienced Progress and Achievement Leader (PAL) to support students' academic and pastoral needs. Alongside your Form Tutors and Senior Leadership team, we are here to support your wellbeing and ensure you reach, and exceed, your academic potential.

Edward Lloyd - Assistant Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form

..studied International Relations and Development Studies at Sussex University. Before entering education, he worked as a historical tour guide and care worker. In schools, he has served as a play worker, teaching assistant, and teacher of History, Politics, Sociology, and Humanities. Edward progressed to become Head of Department and Year Leader before assuming the role of Assistant Head in charge of Sixth Form. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, singing, drawing, painting, sculpture, cooking and riding his bike, reflecting a diverse array of creative interests and a passion for the arts. 

Victoria Thompson - Sixth Form PAL

..studied Retail Design Management at UAL and then qualified as a Design and Technology teacher, completing 14 years’ of teaching in several local comprehensive schools, progressing as Head of Subject and then Deputy of Department. She left the teaching profession to achieve an MSc in Urban Design and City Planning at UCL, The Bartlett School of Planning, further strengthening her academic and professional expertise. Before moving fully into her current role, Victoria worked as a Senior Urban Designer for the London Borough of Enfield within the Design and Heritage Team, and at the Greater London Authority as part of the Design Team and London Plan Team. She has also worked in the private sector as a Store Design Planner at Ted Baker London, working for Ted globally.

In her role as Sixth Form PAL, Victoria supports students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development, drawing on extensive experience in education alongside real-world industry and public-sector insight.

Outside of work, Victoria is an accomplished illustrator, with work publicly exhibited and featured on Enfield Council’s website and Local Plan documents. She also volunteers with the 1st Enfield Girls’ Brigade, reflecting her ongoing commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting young people beyond the classroom.

Unice Ofori - Sixth Form PAL 

Unice Ofori has an MSc in Psychological Sciences from Brunel University and an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Law.  Her roles have included Academic Mentor, Head of Functional Skills, Head of Year, and Head of GCSE. Alongside her professional work, she volunteers as a Youth Coordinator, mentoring young people and leading community outreach initiatives. Grounded in her faith, Unice is actively involved in church and youth work and takes part in annual Christmas fundraising every year through different initiatives. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, fashion, and cooking and baking.

Lucie Cowell - Sixth Form PAL 

..studied Fashion Design and Technology with Marketing at The Arts University of Bournemouth.  Before entering education, she worked as an Assistant Merchandiser and an assistant buyer. In her teaching career, Lucie has taught Art, Photography, Textiles and Graphic Design. Previously, Lucie was the Schools Council Co-ordinator, and progressed to become Progress and Achievement Leader in the Sixth Form. Outside of work, Lucie enjoys travelling, exercise such as running and swimming, drawing, photography, listening to a vast array of podcasts and spending time with friends and family.
