  • Duke of Edinburgh 2025

    Published 20/06/25

Our intrepid Y9 & 10 DofE students smashed their 16km trek over two days.

Completely self-sufficient — carrying ALL SUPPLIES they needed for the weekend: tents, food, kit, clothes and determination.

No deliveries, no takeaways, no comfy beds and absolutely NO phones. Just pure grit, determination and some serious teamwork.

Students navigated the route using their own orienteering skills, set up camp, cooked their own meals (with some creative recipes along the way), and supported each other through every challenge.

An incredible display of resilience, leadership, and what young people can achieve when they pull together! What an adventure..

..we're not entirely sure what the local flora and fauna made of your trek theme tune: Beyonce's ‘You won't break my soul’ but well done for the (not so) ambient singing - whatever gets you through!

We are SO proud of every single DofE student and can't wait for our next expedition in June 2026!
