Enfield County School for Girls is a well-established girls’ comprehensive school with a diverse student body in the centre of Enfield with a tradition of high achievement and academic success. The successful candidate will be an analytical and highly visible middle leader with the ability to identify and implement further school improvement.

The person appointed will be able to:

  • Lead the continued development of quality teaching and professional development for new and experienced teaching colleagues
  • Further develop assessment and reporting for students at key stage 3
  • Plan strategically to ensure that all students achieve and make progress, securing School improvement.
  • Ensure the highest standards of behaviour and attitudes alongside the development of strategy to support achievement, personal development and leadership at ks3
  • Evidence a record of leading an effective curriculum and or teaching and learning focus as a middle leader.
  • Inspire and lead colleagues whilst recognising the need to establish excellent relationships and be part of a team and the school community.

Building mutually respectful and effective relationships with each other, students, parents and carers and other stakeholders is central to our school ethos and values.

The successful candidate should anticipate a wide-ranging brief that will provide opportunity to contribute to all areas of the school and support further professional development.
