Huge thanks to the IRIS Project & Lou Farabella for bringing the stars a little closer to our Year 10 students.

Through a national initiative discovered, our Y10 students were thrilled to take part in the IRIS Club — an exciting weekly opportunity where students explored real astronomical data and analysed spectra from distant stars.

A heartfelt thank you to Lou for running the club over the course of the year, and guiding our students through the challenge. Late last week, we received the final poster showcasing their incredible work — a true testament to their curiosity, collaboration, and scientific thinking.

Well done to all students involved: your exploration of the cosmos is truly inspiring.
