Year 9 & 10 Students Take on First Aid Training for Duke of Edinburgh Award
This week, our Year 9 and 10 students took part in a valuable First Aid training session as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award preparation. Led by Miss Green, the session covered a range of essential life-saving skills, equipping the girls with knowledge and confidence to respond in emergency situations.
The BIG SUMMER SHOW is HERE!
Get ready to be blown away by the incredible creativity of our KS3, GCSE, and A Level students as they showcase a year of hard work, imagination, and pure talent!
Students and their families, and friends of ECSfG all welcome! All proceeds go to support school projects and enrichment activities.
What a sensational achievement for our Year 7 Netball team! Our unstoppable athletes dominated the Enfield Borough Netball Tournament and emerged as winners, not losing a match all afternoon!
From the very first whistle to the final buzzer, every single player gave it their all - showcasing incredible teamwork, skill, and determination. We couldn't be prouder of this amazing group of young athletes who truly brought their A-game every single match.
Huge shoutout to our PE staff-coaches and supporters who helped make this victory possible. The hard work, dedication and passion have paid off, and this is just the beginning!
Congratulations, team – YOU DID IT!
Keep shining!
Our A level Historians had the incredible opportunity to visit @LondonMetUni to engage with the @antiapartheidlegacy Anti-Apartheid Legacy Project — a vital initiative preserving the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the Anti-Apartheid movement.
Through inspiring talks and thought-provoking discussions, students explored the legacy of activism and resistance, connecting the historical fight against apartheid with present-day issues of justice and equality.
Students channelled their learning into their own anti-apartheid collage artworks, linking this powerful history to their A Level coursework in meaningful, personal ways.
Thank you @londonmetuni and @antiapartheidlegacy for a moving experience that deepened students' understanding of how art, history, and social justice intersect — and how the voices of the past continue to inspire action today.
Such an enriching experience helping to spark such reflection and creativity.
Students from across all key stages met with the Mayor of Enfield to learn about the inner workings of local government.
Students learned about the structure of the council, debates that take place in the civic centre, opportunities for teenagers and young adults in local government, and how they could become a councillor for their ward in the future.
Thank you, Cllr Islam and @enfieldcounciluk, for your time and expertise, and enthusing our students with a love of politics.
Today’s young hands are growing tomorrow’s forests.
Hand grown from local oak tree acorns, last March our Sixth Form Student Leadership Team planted two oak trees in the grounds of our upper school. Our tiny acorns have steadily grown into strong saplings and we couldn’t be more delighted.
Courtesy of @homeinstead.enfield, our amazing Year 12 students have been teaming up with local older residents to offer tech support and share stories across the generations of Enfield. From helping set up smartphones to navigating social media, our Y12 students love working with the Silver Surfers Initiative, held weekly in Enfield Town Library, and The Memory Club, bi-weekly fun-packed social events.
Learn how you can support your child's career choices.
Choosing a career path can be overwhelming — not just for young people, but for parents and carers too. With so many options like A-levels, T-levels, apprenticeships, vocational training, and university, it can be hard to know what’s right, what’s available, and how to best support your child.
That’s why Local London Careers Hub East is hosting a FREE event for parents, carers, and young people aged 14 to 18 in Enfield.
Our Y10&Y13 Textiles students at the Saatchi Gallery and V&A Museum this week in support of their GCSE & A level courses.
Students were especially captivated by the Saatchi Gallery's FLOWERS – FLORA IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE exhibition which "features large-scale installations, original art, photography, fashion, archival objects and graphic design exploring the ongoing influence of flowers on creativity and human expression."
