Our Y9 PSHCE/History students enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Houses of Parliament, in support of students' learning about women gaining the vote and future careers. We saw the statues of Millicent Fawcett and Emmeline Pankhurst and had a tour of both the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Students were engaged in a workshop on petitions, where they presented their own ideas with confidence. Well done Y9 - for impressing Parliament staff with your thoughtful questions and creative ideas.
