  Outdoor wear  

Wearing a green blazer is compulsory; it must be worn at all times including travelling to and from school. Outdoor coats must be plain black, and worn over the blazer. Expensive coats are not suitable for school, e.g. leather etc. Coats should have no logos or coloured trim.

 
   
 Shoes  

Flat, plain black in a style suitable for school wear. No heels, platform soles or ballet style pump shoes as these can be dangerous. High heels, sandals, trainers, boots and ankle boots are not permitted.

 
   
 School Kilt

Black Watch tartan kilt available from uniform suppliers.
Kilt must be knee length or longer.

 
 
  School Trousers

Available from uniform suppliers, black Trutex and must carry the school logo.

 
  Shirt

Plain white shirt-style blouse. Only a plain white T-shirt/vest may be worn under blouse for warmth. Blouses should be no longer than jumper or blazer.

 
  School Jumper or Sweatshirt

Bottle green v-neck, but no longer than blazer.

 
 Socks

Plain black – only 1 pair to be worn at one time.

 
 Tights

Plain opaque black.

 
 Badges

No badges other than school badge.

 
 Make-Up

Make-up, coloured contact lenses and nail varnish are not permitted.

 
  Hair

Where hygiene and safety are involved, long hair should be fastened back and if hair bands, slides or head coverings are worn, they should be plain black. No extravagant or coloured hairstyles are allowed.

 
 Jewellery

One very small plain gold or silver stud (not diamante) no bigger than 4mm may be worn in each ear by pupils with pierced ears. Facial jewellery such as worn in the nose or brow, is strictly not permitted, even if covered with a plaster.
No other jewellery is allowed.

 
 Physical Education

A named bag to hold P.E. equipment.
Polo sports shirt 65/35 pique knit (winter emerald). Plain black shorts or leggings, in-expensive trainers and white socks.
Optional items: Black tracksuit for winter games and football boots

 
 Umbrellas

Umbrellas should be compact and fit into a bag or a locker. Large umbrellas are not allowed to be carried around inside the school building.
