Anti-Apartheid Legacy Project

Our A level Historians had the incredible opportunity to visit @LondonMetUni to engage with the @antiapartheidlegacy Anti-Apartheid Legacy Project — a vital initiative preserving the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the Anti-Apartheid movement.

Through inspiring talks and thought-provoking discussions, students explored the legacy of activism and resistance, connecting the historical fight against apartheid with present-day issues of justice and equality.

Students channelled their learning into their own anti-apartheid collage artworks, linking this powerful history to their A Level coursework in meaningful, personal ways.

Thank you @londonmetuni and @antiapartheidlegacy for a moving experience that deepened students' understanding of how art, history, and social justice intersect — and how the voices of the past continue to inspire action today.

Such an enriching experience helping to spark such reflection and creativity.
