Art Students' Clay Sculpture Workshop with visiting artist Julia Clarke.

Over the course of weekly, three hour workshops, Y12 & 13 Art students learned clay modelling technical skills. Under Julia Clarke's professional tutorage, students learnt about the importance of proportion, symmetry and facial anatomy. 

Students used an armature for the first time and, with Julia's artistic guidance, gained the confidence in clay sculpting to create their own 3D head.
