JOIN THE FRIENDS OF ENFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL

The Friends of Enfield County School is a group of parents, teachers and friends dedicated to raising funds for the school through a variety of social events throughout the year.

We are a friendly group which meets approximately once a month during term time at the Lower School site in Rosemary Avenue to plan activities and to agree how we can best help the school with the money that we raise.

Whenever possible, we aim to provide the school with the little ‘extras’ that help to improve the quality of school life.

Our activities in 2009 have included:
• Year 11 Prom Night at Forty Hall
• A Dancing on Ice evening at Alexandra Palace ice rink.
• Providing refreshments for a range of school events.

You can get involved by:
• Attending the monthly meetings to help plan events
• Volunteering to help at individual events

JUST A FEW HOURS OF YOUR TIME CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE TO THE SCHOOL AND YOUR DAUGHTER’S EDUCATION!

The first meeting of FOECS for the 2009/10 academic year is on MONDAY 14 SEPTEMBER at 7.30pm at the Lower School, Rosemary Avenue. The next meetings are on 5 October, 2 November and 30 November.

If you cannot come to meetings, but would like to be kept in touch with events and opportunities for helping, please send your name and email address to the membership secretary, Sarah Jackson at foecs@gmx.co.uk
