  • Planting Oak Trees from Acorns

    Today’s young hands are growing tomorrow’s forests.

    Hand grown from local oak tree acorns, last March our Sixth Form Student Leadership Team planted two oak trees in the grounds of our upper school. Our tiny acorns have steadily grown into strong saplings and we couldn’t be more delighted.

  • Y12 students' collaboration with 'Home Instead', Enfield

    Courtesy of @homeinstead.enfield, our amazing Year 12 students have been teaming up with local older residents to offer tech support and share stories across the generations of Enfield. From helping set up smartphones to navigating social media, our Y12 students love working with the Silver Surfers Initiative, held weekly in Enfield Town Library, and The Memory Club, bi-weekly fun-packed social events.

  • V&A Museum & Saatchi Gallery Textiles Trip

    Our Y10&Y13 Textiles students at the Saatchi Gallery and V&A Museum this week in support of their GCSE & A level courses.

    Students were especially captivated by the Saatchi Gallery's FLOWERS – FLORA IN CONTEMPORARY ART & CULTURE exhibition which "features large-scale installations, original art, photography, fashion, archival objects and graphic design exploring the ongoing influence of flowers on creativity and human expression."

  • Regional Winners

    Our erudite team of lawyers, witnesses, ushers, legal advisers and magistrates achieved the highest score amongst participating teams, winning both their prosecution and defence cases. We congratulate each member of our sixteen-strong team for their contributions to the winning team..

  • Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Mohammad Islam

    We were honoured to welcome Cllr Mohammad Islam, The Mayor of Enfield, to meet with our lower school students this morning. Cllr Islam gave a presentation in our Y9 assembly, followed by Q&A session with Y8 students, in which students discussed the importance of representation in our community; key environmental issues; plans to rejuvenate Enfield's green spaces; regenerating Enfield through the introduction of community hubs; means of reducing teenage youth crime; increasing social housing and improving living conditions for Enfield residents.

    Students were also captivated learning about Cllr Islam's personal story: political connections in Bangladesh and studying at Kings College, Ireland.
    A heartfelt thank you for your time and for inspiring our students today, Cllr Islam.
