Remote Education - MS Teams

Due to the second COVID testing programme that we must process next week, students in Year Groups 8, 9 and 11 will not have a copy of their finalised lesson timetable for this academic year 2021/22 by Monday morning.

This means that students will not know which lessons on Teams they would have on Monday, for the morning if they are in Year 8 and 11 and the whole day if they are in Year 9.

Therefore, we will be putting 5 hours of Core provision (English, Mathematics, Science and either French or Spanish) for Year 9 and 3 hours for Year 8 and 11 into each respective Year Group Team on Monday morning.  Students just need to log into Teams and go to their Year Group Team, not individual subjects Teams.

Please see below information that all students, parents or carers can access about our provision of remote education. This information must be published on school websites by 25 January 2021 to support understanding of what students, parents and carers should expect during periods of school closure or pupil isolation relating to coronavirus (COVID-19).

MS teams

It is important that we try to continue delivering high-quality education during periods of remote learning. Alongside uploading resources and lesson packs, setting quizzes, tasks, project work and assignments on a regular basis is essential to ensure that students attempt to engage with the work we provide.  Learning from home can only truly be effective if students complete tasks and receive feedback from their teachers on assignments that they submit.

Along with the above and in line with our current assessment, feedback and marking policy, staff will aim to set, assess and feedback on unit tasks during this current school closure via MS Teams.

If you have any difficulties logging in, or handing in work via this platform, please use this email:  teams@enfieldcs.enfield.sch.uk and a member of our IT support will help you out.

In the menus below are resources put together by our staff that every student can access in case they cannot login to MS Teams.
