Telephone Support Line
Enfield’s Educational Psychology Service in partnership with Enfield Thrives Together are offering a telephone consultation service to support parent/ carers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is available 5 days a week from 10am to 9pm.

My Support Space
My Support Space is Victim Support’s free and secure online platform containing interactive guides, tips and videos.
My Support Space includes topics such as difficult emotions, coping strategies, trauma and sleep. These are all common issues that people may experience after crime, but may be intensified during the coronavirus pandemic.
ThinkUKnow have created a page to support parents and young people online. The site includes home activity packs with simple 15 minute activities support children's understanding of online safety at a time.

London Learning at Home
The Mayor has launched London Learning at Home to bring together the city’s free learning and cultural resources that children can access from home.
Parents, carers and teachers can easily search for resources by age range, subject, key stage and level of adult supervision needed.
The new initiative will help young Londoners to still feel connected to the incredible people, places and culture of their city.

Given the pressure that families will be experiencing at the current time Enfield Council have developed an enhanced service to support victims of domestic abuse, involving various Council teams e.g. Housing, Community Safety and external partners including the Police and Voluntary & Community Sector. The new Domestic Abuse Hub strengthens current arrangements and will help in responding to concerns quickly to reduce risks and ensure the safety of children and vulnerable adults.
The new service has a dedicated free helpline where people who are suffering domestic abuse can contact specialised officers for advice. Helpline Number: 0800 923 9009.

Wed 1 April: Free School Meal Update:
Following the closure of Enfield County School for Girls as a result of the COVID- 19 crisis, we have been following guidance from the Local Authority with regard to the provision of free school meals.
The DfE are now providing FSM Vouchers via Edenred and parents/carers will shortly receive an email directly from the DfE/Edenred with an eCode for £15 to enable you to buy food from the following shops:
Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury's, ASDA, Waitrose, M&S
