MFL Writing Competition 2018

MFL Writing Competition 2018

The winning French and Spanish stories written by our Year 9 and Year 10 students; Senem, Mina, Diane and Abby were beautifully illustrated by our very skilled Year 13 Art students Jasmine, Kirsty, Hana and Riona .

A great example of collaboration between Lower and Upper school.

Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to the artists!

"Last academic year, I entered the MFL writing competition.  At the time we were learning about holidays and we had to write around 150 words about where we go on holiday and what we do. We had to include opinions, time phrases and use three different tenses. I was pleasantly surprised when my teacher pulled me aside to tell me I had won and congratulated me. On the last week of term, I was handed a beautiful piece of artwork which I currently have hanging on my bedroom wall. I am extremely grateful to the sixth former who took the time out to paint my story. She has done an amazing job and I wish her the best of luck in her A levels." Abby 10N
