ECSfG Winning Team - The Institute for Engineering and Technology: Faraday Challenge
Faraday Challenge - The Institute for Engineering and Technology
We’re incredibly proud of our 30x Y8 students who participated in the national competition: STEM Day with The Institute for Engineering and Technology on Friday. Team ECSfG finished with an outstanding score of 78, against the national average of 62.
Feedback from our Institute of Engineering Challenge Leader was that he was extremely impressed with our girls’ ideas and conduct. We couldn’t be prouder of our team who scored the highest element for "Engineering" the Challenge Leader has ever given in the country!
Our winning team of 6 received a "sustainable" bamboo trophy and a £10 voucher each. We hope the girls take enormous pride in their achievement and treasure their memories of the day, along with their IET certificate and draw string material goody-bag. Over one thousand schools apply to participate in this prestigious competition each year. We were advised to apply again next year: we certainly will!
